This fitting is used in conjunction with the M6 left-hand swageless terminal (SSW077XMB) for use on timber posts.

What is it made out of?
Black 304 Stainless Steel.
How does it get fixed to a timber post?
Drill a 7.5mm hole into a timber post, and then using a 6mm hex drive, screw the threaded insert into the hole.
Can it be used for exterior applications?
As it is Stainless Steel it is more than suitable to be used inside or outside.
